It's a..... BOY!

We FINALLY found out that we are have a BOY!!! We couldn't be more excited.  The ultrasound was so fun!  He was moving around like crazy.  Christian loved it because he got to see all of his little organs.  There is no denying that he is a little boy!  We love him so much already!

His cute little face!

One of his feet and his five little toes!

The whole time he alternated between waving to us and crossing his arms.  He is so cute!

I'm sure he will love me one day for posting his privates on the internet... but it's a BOY!

Emergency Room

My entire pregnancy I have been really, really sick.  I wish could say that I am one of those people that love pregnancy, but it has honestly been the hardest thing I've ever done.  Since week 5 I have pretty much thrown up every day, usually several times a day.  Now that I am about 22 weeks it has been getting a little better.  But I generally still throw up in the morning.

Well, one lovely Sunday it was at its peak.  I was about 18 weeks along and it had been about three days since I had kept anything down.  On Sunday evening I started throwing up blood.  I was in a panic.  So scared.  And I was just hoping that baby was okay.  We decided to go the emergency room just to be safe. Everything turned out to be okay.  They did an ultrasound and hooked me up to an IV to get some fluids.  I got to see our baby jump around like crazy!  It was the first time I had seen it since our first ultra sound at 10 weeks and the baby had changed so much since then.  It was moving around like CRAZY!  I loved it.  It was such a relief to know that baby was healthy.

We left the emergency room at about 3:30 and it was of course the night before Christian started school.  I am so thankful that he sacrificed his sleep for our child and myself.  He is going to be the best Dad!

Physical Therapy School

Christian Started Physical Therapy school the week after we arrived.  So far he is loving it.  He just finished his first semester.

He has spent his summer in a human cadaver lab dissecting a human body.  While I find it a little bit repulsive, he loves every second of it!  It is great to see him studying something that he loves so much.  Speaking of studying, he is such a hard worker and pretty much studies from the crack of dawn till we go to bed at night.  He always had his flashcards and/or ipad in hand just like the pictures below.

Welcome to Vegas!

We are all settled in here in Henderson. We pulled up around 4:30 and it was of course hotter than heck.  My parents, Christian, and my Aunt Mary unloaded our truck while I stayed inside and directed traffic.  Because of my Mom we were all unpacked with pictures hanging within 3 days. We literally couldn't be more grateful for their help.  We couldn't have done it without my parents!  So far, we are loving out little life in Vegas!

Moving Day

We said goodbye to Bridger Drive early in the morning.  We were so thankful for all the help that we had from both of families. Everyone pitched in to help and we couldn't have done it without them. Christian's Dad Tim hung out the window just to clean the outside of it.  And my sister-in-law, Christina emptied my toilet with a paper cup so that she could clean it per instructions of my landlord.  Seriously, our families are the the best!

We loved our little apartment and we were so sad to go.  We were especially sad to say goodbye to all of our family in the Valley.  We love them so much and are thankful for the support that they gave us.  Thank you, thank you everyone!!! We love you!!

Goodbye Logan

Because Christian was accepted to Physical Therapy School we left our humble abode in Logan and made the trek out to Las Vegas! Before we left we were able to spend a lot of time with family and friends.

A couple of weeks before we left we went out to dinner with all of my siblings.  Living so close to eachother for the past few years was literally the best thing ever.  We grew to be so close and I really am lucky enough to consider my siblings as my best friends.  They are the best!

Our awesome co-workers from the the Copper Mill both threw us a little goodbye party.  One of my favorite, Hailey, had the party in her backyard.  The front of house crew also took us out to breakfast. We miss these people a ton!  But we are so glad that we were able to work with such awesome people the past few years.

On the Sunday before Memorial Day we spent the day visiting graves for our family.  We went to Wellsville to see my Dad's gradparents, Honeyville to visit Steve's dad, Newton to see my Mom's grandparent's and my twin cousins, Logan to visit Christian's sister Melody, and Providence to visit my Grandma Pickett.  It was such a cool experience.

We were lucky to enough to run into Christian's family when we went to see Melody!  It was perfect timing and I am so glad we got to share that experience with them!

At the Logan cemetery a bird pooped on Jackson so he ended up like this.  I loved it!

We moved a couple days after Memorial Day so on Memorial Day we got to have a fun picnic with Christians awesome family!  We love getting to spend time with them and we miss them so much! Sadly I don't have any pictures.

That evening we had a little goodbye party with the Pickett family.  It was so fun.  But so sad to say goodbye!

Christian's Graduation

I am the proud wife of a college grad!  Christian graduated from Utah State with a Bachelors in Human Movement Science. He has worked so hard in his undergrad.  I get to brag a little bit about Christian. He worked full time (some weeks over 40 hours), went to school full time, AND he managed to graduate with honors.

I know this is just a stepping stone and you are still on the uphill climb towards achieving your dream as becoming a Physical Therapist.  But getting your bachelors was defiantly not easy and I am so proud of your huge accomplishment!

My favorite part of the graduation commencement is when the entire College of Education did the Scottsman one last time.  It was a perfect way to end his undergraduate career by taking part in Utah State's unique tradition.  I loved it!

We had so much support from both sides of our family.  My parents flew up from Washington, and my Grandparents drove up from St. George.  He had an Aunt and Uncle from out of town come down to support as well.  And all of our local family made it out to celebrate with him too.  I was so grateful for everyone that came.  I know sitting through a hour and a half of reading names is not fun, but they were all champs!

After the graduation we headed to a park and had a little celebration with all of our family.  It was so fun to be all together and the food was delicious!  Thank you everyone for coming out to support Christian.  We love you guys!

Katie, Steve, and family were there too, but left before the picture!

I love you Christian! I am so proud of all of your hard work!
